We will be visiting the Discalced Carmelites of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Monastery located in Post Falls.
The Carmel is served by the parish of St. Joan of Arc. The Carmelites devote their lives to prayer, strive to live a life hidden with Christ, and honor the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The Carmel has 9 fully professed nuns and 5 women in formation.
This rare event is open to girls ages 7 and older with an accompanying chaperone.
Girls will need to bring 2 or 3 written questions with them. The Carmel requires all girls and female chaperones to wear a headpiece/veil and appropriate clothing attire.
RSVP required to reserve seat. Seating limited to 12 girls.
Donations to the carmel are gladly accepted.
